What would you like to know?

I'm opening this post up to see what you, as a reader would like to know about cloth diapering.  I had a LOT of questions when starting out.  Post in the comments below!

  1. Have you used all in ones? I'm thinking of getting AIO for convenience.
I know the differences between AIO and inserts.... Is there a reason (other than drying time) you went with inserts? Thx!

  2. Replying from my iPad. I have never used AIO diapers, but I do have a few pockets. I chose the Best Bottom diapers because they are a one size shell and sized inserts. For infants, the inserts are very small. This makes the clothing fit better because the diapers are trim. I also need fewer shells and more inserts. If the diaper is just wet, you can replace the insert and reuse the shell. Poopy diapers always get everything rinsed off and washed.

    1. I have about 20 shells and 24-30 inserts of each size, plus overnight doublers in medium and large and micro doublers in large. My son is a heavy wetter. In the beginning I washed every day because a newborn goes through about 13 diapers in 24 hours. Now I can wash every three days if I have to, but I prefer to wash every other day. I also have four fuzzibunz and a pocket work at home mom diaper. I don't use these very often.
