Cotton Booty Box and contest

Cotton Booty!

Last week I saw on another blog a post about a new subscription service for cloth diapers!  I was very excited to see this.  Having two children in diapers, I'm always on the lookout for fun diapers, and great diapering accessories.  So, after an evening of thought, I signed up for a year.  This makes each box $19.99 for me.

My first box contained three items.  If you sign up and give my name when you order, I might get an extra item to talk about and use with my kids.  Back to the box.  It came USPS first class mail.  The small, nondescript brown box does not do justice to the greatness inside!

Upon opening the box, I came across the paper that describes the contents of the box.

Next is the adorable sticker and paper hiding the items!  I was very curious what print I would be getting on my diaper.  I knew the May boxes contained a Bumgenius Freetime.  I broke the seal on the paper, and opened it up.

SCORE!  I got a Freetime in Lovelace!  One of my favorite prints!

Next my attention went to the super cute baby legs. These will be fantastic when my daughter is old enough to start crawling.  They also look like they will be a great start to a Valentine's day outfit.

Last is a sample size jar of Cj's butter.  The scent I got was Viva La Juicy.  Let me tell you, this scent is fantastic!  I will be using this for uses other than diaper cream because I love the scent so much.  I will definitely be ordering this scent in the future!

A contest to enter!

First off, this contest isn't mine.  The only thing I get out of sharing this is a contest entry of my own, and the knowledge that I'm spreading awareness for a cause that I feel is a good one.  The cause is helping families in need.  The Rebecca Foundation helps families in need diaper the it baby.

With the growing news of families reusing disposable diapers or not changing their child as often as they need to, I feel that spreading the word about these programs is essential.  Many cloth diapering moms know that using covers and flats is the cheapest way to go, but to some families, even purchasing the supplies to do that is a hardship.

Another organization that helps diaper babies in need is Giving Diapers, Giving Hope.

Spreading the word about these organizations will help get information to families that need it.  If you can donate, every dollar or used  diaper helps as well.  I know that many moms resell their cloth diapers when their child outgrows them or is potty trained/learned, but this is another option.

Now, I promised a contest to enter, right?  Follow this link over to The Median Mommy blog and enter there.  I am not affiliated with that blog in any way, shape, or form, it's just a blog that I personally follow.  http://www.themedianmommy.com/2013/06/rebecca-foundation-cloth-diaper.html
